Thorns Vase
An aluminium vase studded with steel spikes where hostility turned into care. THORNS borrows the language of hostile architecture, the spikes that appear across cities so no one can lean, sit or stay, and turns it inside out. What is meant to repel now protects something alive as flowers. Light catches its faceted surfaces and multiplies every reflection, so something hostile becomes almost jewellery. An object with a strong narrative and an ironic twist, made to be used and admired.
The two versions
Round — soft silhouette, spikes radiating in every direction.
Square — sharper lines, a more architectural presence.
